r0771800
Zodiac Polaris 7000/7240 Sport Complete Front Wheel Assembly (R0771800)

The Zodiac Polaris 7000/7240 Sport Complete Front Wheel Assembly (manufacturer part R0771800) is a purpose-selected replacement or equipment component for compatible pool, spa or aquatic installations. Its specific construction and application help technicians and owners maintain the intended equipment arrangement instead of making an uncertain substitution based only on appearance. When planning a repair, identifying the exact installed assembly is as important as identifying the replacement part itself.

Maintaining robotic cleaner movement

Robotic pool cleaners rely on several coordinated mechanical systems to move, turn and remain in contact with pool surfaces. Wheels, tracks and associated drive parts affect traction and maneuverability. Replacing a damaged component may restore normal travel without replacing a fully functioning cleaner, provided the motor, gearing and related assemblies remain sound.

Front and rear wheel assemblies perform different positions in the drive system; select the location specified by the original parts diagram.

Installation, Compatibility & Care

During diagnosis, look for uneven wear, debris around the axle and obstructions to the drive path. A cleaner that repeatedly slips or stalls may need inspection of both sides, not only the visibly damaged part. Manufacturer-specific front and rear assemblies are not necessarily interchangeable, even within the same cleaner family.

A correct replacement also protects the time invested in diagnosing and servicing the surrounding equipment. The best results come from comparing the old part with its service diagram, planning required accessories before disassembly, and checking the restored system under normal operating conditions. Where the equipment is part of a pressurized, submerged or electrically powered installation, follow the manufacturer’s shutdown, isolation and recommissioning procedures; a physically fitting component is not automatically approved for every application.

Practical Features & Service Considerations

Traction: inspect the wear pattern and engagement with the original drive components.

Side-to-side balance: compare corresponding parts for binding or uneven movement.

Debris removal: clear hair, grit and other material around rotating attachments.

Model matching: confirm the exact Polaris cleaner version and part diagram.

Service scope: check whether bearings, axle hardware or retainers are included.

Post-repair testing: verify free movement before returning the unit to the pool.

Before ordering: Compare the original equipment label and service diagram with R0771800.
