Pentair Bermuda White Gunite Skimmer Assembly [2" Slip] (506361)

The Pentair Bermuda skimmer assembly is a white skimmer designed for compatible gunite-pool installations and identified with a 2-inch slip plumbing connection. A skimmer collects surface water and floating debris as part of the pool circulation system.

How This Component Fits the System

Pool skimmers collect floating leaves and debris from the water surface before it travels farther into the circulation system. The weir opening, housing geometry, basket access, and suction plumbing are designed to work together. Replacement parts must fit the original installation style, particularly where vinyl liners, concrete pools, and different faceplate or throat designs use distinct gasket and fastening arrangements.

This is the skimmer assembly rather than a replacement lid or faceplate. Verify the pool construction, throat configuration, dimensions and plumbing connections before installation.

Replacement and Maintenance Considerations

A well-planned repair includes inspecting the condition of the neighboring assembly before reinstalling the replacement. Look for worn mating surfaces, loose retainers, damaged connections, corrosion, or other conditions relevant to the component being serviced. Recommission the system using the manufacturer procedure rather than assuming that installing a new part alone resolves the original operating problem.

For this particular listing, the ordering reference is 506361. The identifying description is Pentair Bermuda White Gunite Skimmer Assembly [2" Slip] (506361). Matching the original unit and the manufacturer parts illustration is particularly important where closely related models have different mounting or electrical requirements.

Practical Features and Service Benefits

• Helps maintain the intended surface-debris collection path.
• Restoring damaged trim or internal pieces can be less disruptive than replacing the entire skimmer body.
• Matching mounting holes and sealing interfaces matters for leak prevention.
• Keeping the skimmer basket clear supports healthy system circulation.
• Visible cracks or missing components should be investigated before continued operation.
• The pool wall type and original housing designation remain important selection criteria.
