Harmsco 30" Filter Cartridge Lifter (622)

The 30" Filter Cartridge Lifter (622) is an original Harmsco filtration-related product identified by manufacturer part number 622. Harmsco cartridge filtration is intended to capture suspended material as pool water passes through pleated filter media. A properly selected replacement element helps restore the original filter’s water-polishing function without replacing the housing, plumbing or pump.

Role in the Filter Assembly

Harmsco describes its pool cartridge designs as cleanable and reusable, with pleated media engineered to provide substantial surface area for filtration. For SuperTuf models, its Polyester-Plus media literature describes progressive fine-particle capture as the filter loads. Tropi-Clean is a separate media offering; those media families should not be treated as identical simply because their housings look related.

Harmsco Filtration and Service Considerations

Harmsco has specialized in filtration equipment for decades, with product families spanning swimming pools, commercial water treatment and portable filtration. Maintaining the correct original hardware is an important part of keeping a repair focused on the component that actually needs attention.

Replacement and Maintenance Guidance

The element must match the intended filter housing, its dimensions and cartridge arrangement. Before placing an order, check the existing element’s identification, end-cap geometry, center opening and any seal interfaces. Routine cleaning should follow Harmsco guidance and the equipment operator’s water-quality requirements.

Practical Features and Ordering Considerations

• Pleated filtration: Media provides a large surface through which suspended particles can be captured.
• Reusable design: Harmsco markets appropriate pool elements for cleaning and repeat service.
• Water clarity: Filtration helps remove suspended particulate matter from circulation.
• Media selection: Select the designated media family instead of assuming cross-compatibility.
• End-cap fit: Confirm length, internal opening and sealing surfaces.
• Service planning: Clean or replace based on pressure differential and condition.
