ASM Manufacturing Under-Spa Mount Stability Handrail (CBHR-UM)

The ASM Manufacturing Under-Spa Mount Stability Handrail is a purpose-specified replacement or installation product for pool and spa equipment. The right component can make the difference between a straightforward repair and costly rework: matching the original equipment arrangement helps preserve system function, reduce unnecessary replacement of otherwise usable parts, and restore a consistent finished installation.

Safer and More Comfortable Spa Access

Hot tub steps and handrails make it easier to approach, enter and leave an elevated spa. The correct accessory should suit the installed spa height, available deck space and method of attachment, while fitting into the overall layout without interfering with the cover, cabinet access or nearby circulation equipment. Poolside accessories also experience routine exposure to splashes, weather and cleaning chemicals.

Choosing between skirt-mounted, under-spa and free-standing configurations is an important installation decision. A mounting arrangement suitable for one cabinet or foundation may not be appropriate for another. Consider how users approach the spa and where a secure handhold or stable stepping surface is most helpful; the position can be as important as the accessory design itself.

Selection and Installation Considerations

This catalog entry identifies a distinct service configuration; compare it with the original component rather than choosing a replacement solely by general appearance. The specific item reference CBHR-UM should be used when checking ordering records, service illustrations and original manufacturer labels. Before use, confirm proper assembly and a stable mounting surface. Follow manufacturer limitations and do not treat an accessory handrail as a substitute for an approved accessibility lift or required barrier.

Useful Features and Service Considerations

• Placement should complement the actual entry route
• Stable support depends on correct installation
• Check spa cabinet and deck clearances
• Match the mounting method to the installation
• Inspect outdoor accessories periodically for looseness
• Keep the spa cover and service panels accessible

Before ordering: Identify the existing equipment model and compare the connection or mounting arrangement, manufacturer identification and any applicable electrical or safety requirements. This listing is for the particular item identified above, not for an entire system unless the product is expressly described as a complete assembly.
