LX SWP 2.2 THP Variable Speed Pool Pump [115/230V] (SWP220-VS)

The Guangdong Lingxiao LX SWP220-VS Variable Speed Pool Pump combines energy-efficient operation with adjustable water circulation for compatible in-ground swimming pools. Manufactured by LX Pumps, this self-priming variable-speed pump is designed to provide greater control over pool water movement than a traditional single-speed pump, helping pool owners balance circulation requirements with operating efficiency.

Energy-Efficient Variable Speed Technology

Unlike conventional single-speed pool pumps that operate at one fixed motor speed, the LX SWP220-VS allows pump operation to be adjusted to suit different circulation requirements. Running at an appropriate lower speed when full output is unnecessary can reduce energy consumption while maintaining the water movement required by the pool's filtration system.

Variable-speed operation provides flexibility for everyday filtration and other compatible pool functions that require different flow rates. Rather than operating at maximum output continuously, the pump can be configured to meet the needs of the installation.

ENERGY STAR Certified Performance

The LX SWP220-VS is listed in ENERGY STAR pool pump certification records as a variable-speed, self-priming pump for in-ground swimming pools. Its published Weighted Energy Factor (WEF) of 8.569 reflects certified hydraulic efficiency under standardized testing conditions.

This efficiency rating is particularly valuable for pool owners considering the long-term operating costs of replacing an older, fixed-speed pump. Actual electricity savings depend on operating speed, daily run time, plumbing conditions, pool requirements, and local electricity rates.

Designed for Flexible Pool Circulation

LX variable-speed pump technology is intended to give pool owners greater flexibility when managing filtration and water circulation. Adjustable pump speeds help accommodate changing operating requirements throughout the day, making variable-speed equipment an attractive option for both replacement installations and pool equipment upgrades.

As part of the Guangdong Lingxiao pump lineup, the SWP220-VS offers an alternative for customers seeking a modern, energy-conscious pool pump rather than another fixed-speed unit.

Replacement and Installation Considerations

When replacing an existing swimming pool pump, confirm the available electrical supply, plumbing connection sizes, installation clearances, and required system flow rates. Pump horsepower alone does not establish compatibility, particularly when upgrading from single-speed equipment to variable-speed technology.

Review the LX SWP220-VS specifications listed on this product page and compare them with your existing equipment before ordering. Proper pump selection and professional installation help ensure that the replacement is suitable for your pool's circulation and filtration requirements.
